  Cannot Login

When you enter a new login name or select a login name, you are asked for your password. If this is correct, SmartMan will check to verify that the USB cable are connected to the manikin and the computer. If there is an error, you will see this error screen
not connected
When you click retry you will need to re-enter the login information.

  Cannot Acess Skills Menu

To perform a practice or to take a test, you select the skill from the Actions Menu. If these actions are available, they will be a bright white. If they are not available, they will be grayed out as in the following example.

To access a test or practice, you must have a current registration and you must have calibrated the manikin

Register: After you log in for the first time you must proceed to the ‘Register’ page and register. The computer must be on line for this process.

Calibrate SmartMan: After you log and after you have registered, you must calibrate SmartMan to make sure that the readings are accurate. You must re-calibrate each time you use a different computer. Also if there are changes to the pressure on the chest, or if there have been changes in the way the chest is compressing, SmartMan will require you to re calibrate.
