SUMMARY
 WINDOWS XP
    CONTROL PANEL --> Security --> Internet Options (at bottom)
                        Security Tab --> Trusted Sites --> Sites (Button) (Type in each of the sites)

 WINDOWS VISTA
    CONTROL PANEL --> Allow a program through Windows firewall (click link)
                        Exceptions Tab (You shoudl already be there)
                        Add Program (Click on the Trusted Sites --> Sites (Button) (Type in each of the sites)
                        Click on "Ambu SmartMan Button
                        Click Okay

When you click on "Security Center" from the "Control Panel;" you will see the following page. Click on "Internet Options". It is where the red arrow is pointing.



You will then see the following screen. It shoudl be pointing to teh Security tab. If not, click on the tab. Next click on the green arrow which is for "Trusted Sites".

When you click on "trusted sites" the "Sites" button will become available. Click on the "Sites" button.

In the area where it says "add this website to teh zone: type each of teh following websites. After each one press teh add button. When finsihed, press close.
SAFE SITES: >> www.firstaidforall.com
                        >> www.launchpadmultimedia.com
                        >> www.v4ems.com

SAFE APPLICATION
                       >>SmartMan.exe

Vista Menu View: Go to Control Panel and then select Windows Firewall. If you are using the new Vista display you will see the following. Click on "Allow a program through Windows Firewall"

If you have selected classic view you will see this.

You will then see the following and usually you will be on the "Exceptions" Tab.

In the bottom right click on the "Add program" button. You will then see a selection of the current programs which are installed on your computer. Select Ambu SmartMan and then click okay.

Windows Vista will now allow SmartMan through the operating system firewall.

Vista - Classic View. If you have switched to classic view in Vista, you will see the following screen instead of the one above. Click on "Windows Firewall.


Then on the next screen Click on "Allow a program through Windows Firewall and the procedure will be same as above.
