SmartMan Products

Since its inception SmartMan has been designed to help improve the quality of CPR performed. Originally providing real time feedback for chest compressions, SmartMan has expanded to include other skills while maintaining a direction tightly focused on CPR.

  Ambu SmartMan

SmartMan introduced the idea of visual real time feedback chest compressions and ventilations with this product and it continues to lead the industry.

This SmartMan product includes the following skills.

• Compressions (30:2)
• Compressions (continuous)
• Ventilations (30:2)
• Ventilations (Rescue Breathing)
• 1 person CPR
• 2 person CPR

SmartMan upgrades are free for the first year.

This system includes the Ambu Man C Manikin, SmartMan software, TIK (Technical Integration Kit), software and cables. See a complete description here.

This product is built on the original SmartMan and also includes basic life support practice for chest compressions and ventilations. This product also includes Advanced Airway Skills. It also has the award winning real time visual feedback that has been so popular in the first product.

This product extends skill practice and testing to ALS. It is designed to help you perfect:

• Performing Intubation
• Advanced Airway CPR
• The CPR cycle beginning with Intubation

This product comes with the Ambu Airway Manikin. It has the required working esophagus and trachea to be able to practice the advanced airways skills. Airway SmartMan also includes the TIK (Technical Integration Kit), software and cables.

  SmartMan Admin Module

The Admin Module will look up all the SmartMan results that have been submitted to the server. It provides three ways to view the results data.

1. Overall Trend of Results: This provides a quick at-a-glance summary of the results. It allows considerable flexibility to define which results are examined. It also provides for the ability to filter results and to export results according to the selected criteria.

2. Individual Plot of Results: This is a complete plot of every result which meets your filtered criteria.
   
   
3. Export of Results: This creates a comma delimited file so that it can be read by Excel or similar program where full statistical analyses can be run.

The Admin Module provides you with a way to filter results so you can examine practices, tests, scores with the real time feedback showing and (Standard), scores performed blind (Advanced), ranges of achievement, and by date.

For detailed statistical analysis, the Admin Module provides an export button. This will create a comma delimited text file and a csv file so that the data can be used in Excel or in other statistical analysis programs.

As part of our dedication and commitment to helping improve CPR, SmartMan's team provides various support services to help people achieve their goals. These services are now available.

SmartMan Extended Warranty. This provides the same back to base warranty as supplied in the first year for years 2 and 3.

SmartMan In-service. There are several courses now available related to maximizing the use of SmartMan in your program.

SmartMan Bulk Registration. This allows a trainer or group leader to pre-register as many people as they want.

SmartMan Web Crawler (bot). With the crawler, trainers working on many different computers and working without internet access can still enjoy the many benefits of accurate data recording. You simply collect the data folders, put them onto a single computer and run the web crawler.
